Discussion Board:

  • Using the product and target foreign country you selected for the Week 3 discussion board, describe some of the ethics problems concerning employment practices, human rights, enviornmental pollution, corruption, bribery, and moral obligations in the target foreign country that could be encourtered while exporting your products.  Identify and discuss whether any of the six determinants were put in place to manage and guard against ethical abuses.
  • Post a substantive reply to one other student’s post.

  • 12th &13th Editions - BA437-637: Read the article Hydro-Quebec Plugs into China's EV push.
  •  Discuss what American electric car companies like Tesla, Ford, GM and Fisker can learn from Hydro-Quebec’s decision to focus on the electric car market and discuss what ethical challenges American electric car manufacturers face
  • BA637 Only: Examine and discuss how social responsibility is reflected in the electric car manufacturers who traditionally are in a market known for causing pollution.
