1. The following pages outline the instructions for creating durable URLs for article/item level linking. These instructions are database specific.
2. Not all databases provide the capability for creating durable URLs for direct article linking. If you have questions regarding a specific database, please contact Joel Hartung - Assistant Director, Library Systems, @ 557-7317 or joel.hartung@bellevue.edu.
3. It is possible to link to a specific database so that students may do their own searching. If you need assistance determining the URL for a specific database, please contact Joel Hartung - Assistant Director, Library Systems, @ 557-7317 or joel.hartung@bellevue.edu and he will forward the URL to you.
4. The student will be able to click on the article or database link and be immediately taken to the item, whether an article, video, or database. They will not need to log-in again in order to access the Library webpage or other resources.
