Linking to Articles, eBooks, and Streaming Videos from the Library's Databases: eBook Central

eBook Central Linking

The following instructions are for creating ProQuest eBook Central links. Unlike most databases, you do not need to add an ezproxy prefix to the URL.

   1. Search for the book, then open the full record for the item.

   2. Highlight the page's URL that appears in the web browser's address bar and copy and paste it into the desired location.

   3. An example of an ebrary article URL would look like this: https://ebookcentral.proquest.com/lib/bellevue-ebooks/detail.action?docID=435527.

   4. Once created, the student will be able to click on the link and be immediately taken to the item, whether an article, video, or database. They will not need to log-in again in order to access the Library webpage or other resources.
