Globalization and its effect on how companies compete effectively in a global marketplace, the effect of big business on the global market, global interdependence and the integration of global business systems and institutions. Transportation, technology and communications also had a significant impact on globalization. As markets became more accessible and trade deals became easier and quicker to negotiate, corporate growth fueled international trade which in turn helped the company expand into new foreign markets. This is globalization.
