Developmental Psychology

Developmental psychology is the study of how and why humans' minds and behaviors change over the course of their lives. Originally concerned with children, the field has expanded to include the entire lifespan.

Developmental psychology is often divided up into different sections based on age, as it is in this guide. This LibGuide also includes a section for developmental disorders, which can also be found on the LibGuide for Abnormal Psychology.
