Psychology: Perspectives and Schools of Thought

Perspectives and Schools of Thought

The field of psychology is divided into many different schools of thought. Some of the major perspectives in psychology are the Biological, Behavioral, Cognitive, Humanistic, Psychodynamic, and Sociocultural perspectives. This section contains resources for these perspectives and more, though it does not necessarily include all psychological perspectives. Be aware that a few of the resources are from the original founders of the perspective, and therefore are fairly old.

The resources on the right are arranged by type: general collection books, eBooks, journal articles, videos, and websites. They all relate to psychology schools of thought in some way, though individual resources may cover more focused specializations.
