Ask a Librarian

There are several ways to contact a librarian for assistance, even when it is not possible to talk face to face with one at the Reference Desk. Other options include phone, email, 24/7 Librarian Chat, Skype, Research Assistance Program, and the Blackboard Ask a Librarian Discussion Board.. For details on these options, click on the relevant tab.

A member of the Reference team is at the Reference Desk  every hour we are open. If you are on campus, just come on into the library, step up to the reference desk, and we will be glad to assist you. If you prefer, send us an email,library@bellevue.edu,or give us a call, 402-557-7313. You can also call to set up an appointment if you need to spend lengthier one-on one-time with a librarian.

Chat with Bellevue University Library Reference staff during normal operating hours. After hours, questions are answered by academic librarians from around the world who have access to the services and resources offered by our library.  Click on  on the top or bottom right side of the library homepage

A member of the Reference team will work with you one-on-one throughout your academic career to answer your questions regarding databases, other library resources, citations, and more. To learn more about the program, meet the Reference team, and sign up, see the Research Assistance Program page.

Would you like a face-to-face meeting with a librarian but can't come into the librarian? Request a Zoom Appointment here. You must have Zoom installed on your computer or device and a webcam.  60 minute sessions are offered Monday through Friday 9-6 PM and must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

Log in to Cyberactive and click on Organizations then select Ask A Librarian. Click on Discussions to view forums. Librarians regularly monitor the page and respond to student questions and library-related discussion!
