Communication: Public Speaking

Public Speaking

Public speaking is traditionally the act of giving a face-to-face speech to a large audience. The act is usually meant to accomplish a purpose, such as to inform, persuade, or entertain.  Due to technological development, it is increasingly common for speakers to reach audience members over platforms like videoconferencing and multimedia presentations.

The resources on the right are arranged by type: general collection books, eBooks, articles, videos, and websites. They all relate to public speaking in some way, though some focus on the specifics of business communication.
