The Khan Academy is a not-for-profit organization with the goal of changing education for the better by providing a free world-class education to anyone anywhere.

All of the site's resources are available to anyone.

It doesn't matter if you are a student, teacher, home-schooler, principal, adult returning to the classroom after 20 years, or a friendly extra-terrestrial who is trying to get a leg up on earth biology.

These resources will help you develop foundational skills in both areas of probability and statistics.

Bayes' Theorem

• A law of probability theory. It helps us work with, revise, and understand probabilities when we are presented with new evidence

• Probability is simply how likely something is to happen

• Whenever we’re unsure about the outcome of an event, we can talk about the probabilities of certain outcomes (how likely they are).  The analysis of events governed by probability is called statistics.
