Sources of information can include books, periodicals, reports, interviews, newswires, brochures, encyclopedias, websites, sound and video recordings, court cases, even transcripts from television programs - and this is only a partial list. Your instructor will probably tell you what kinds of sources are acceptable, but it is up to you to find them. Knowing something about the various types of sources will help you to know where to look and what to use.
