Over the course of the six weeks, students will define information literacy, develop topic ideas and keywords, locate and evaluate resources, create a short annotated bibliography, learn how to cite their sources, and create a partial mock paper.
Reflection Posts
In addition to completing the weekly assignments, students will write informal reflection posts consisting of 1-2 paragraphs that summarize what they learned that week and their process in creating the assignment.
Attendance
Students are expected to arrive on time for each scheduled class. Failure to arrive within 15 minutes could result in not receiving maximum attendance points for that day.
It is important that you complete and submit your work on time. Under extenuating circumstances, leniency will be extended on a case-by-case basis. Please contact the instructor as soon as possible in a clear and timely manner.
