An online research management platform including a bibliography composer and note-taking features.

What is it?
NoodleTools is a resource that allows students to evaluate resources, build accurate citations, archive source material, take notes, outline topics, and prepare to write. it generates accurate MLA, APA, and Chicago/Turabian references with options to annotate and archive lists of documents. It offers a visual 'tabletop' to manipulate, tag and pile notecards, then connect them in outlines to prepare for writing.
Why use it?
Use this resource if you are looking for an all-in-one resource to assist with note-taking, citations, and pre-writing projects.

Compfight
Compfight is an image search site dedicated to locating thousands of images for websites, blogs, research, or personal use. Compfight can filter your search by commercial or Creative Commons images that you can then insert into your work. Please be considerate of attribution etiquette when using an image.
Creative Commons
Creative Commons is a nonprofit organization developed to allow users to find content and use it freely and without having to obtain copyright permissions from the creator. A variety of works such as photographs, text, artwork, images, music, and videos can all be found within the Creative Commons site and used without permission, but some restrictions apply.
Every Stock Photo
This photo-specific search engine allows you to search a collection of millions of photos that are indexed and individually licensed into one search engine. Use of the photos depends on how each photo is licensed.
Fancy Crave
Need a new stock photo that truly tells a story? Download one of these "fancy" and free-to-use photos from Fancy Crave. Just attribute the photo and use it however you like.
FreeDigitalPhotos.net
This site offers many photos that can be used freely for personal, educational, and corporate use. However, if you do use a free version of the photo, you must credit FreeDigitalPhotos.net.
Getty Museum
Explore the Getty Museum's 4,600 high-resolution images freely accessible to download, modify, and publish. Artists' works such as Leonardo Da Vinci, Rembrandt, and Van Gogh are included.

Kaboompics is a remarkable free high quality photo website that not only allows you to select the size of the photo to download, but also offers color palette HEX color options to coordinate with the images.
Life of Pix
Photographers give you access to many high resolution public domain photos on this website. What is so cool about this site is that not only can you search photos by category, like many of the other image websites, but you can also search photos by color and layout (portrait or landscape).
MET Image Collection
Visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art online to access thousands of artwork images that are either open access or in the public domain.
Microsoft Office Images
Browse thousands of illustrations, animations, images, and sound clips in the Microsoft Office Images collection. Any of these can be used in documents and projects, provided that all terms are met.
Morguefile
Free photo archive "for creatives, by creatives," in which the photos can be used however you like, for both commercial or non-commercial works. A morgue file is a location to store post-production works where they can be referenced for later if needed.
Negative Space
All stock-quality photos on Negative Space are released under the Creative Commons Zero (CC0) license and can be modified, downloaded, distributed, and used without permission.
