Linking to Articles, eBooks, and Streaming Videos from the Library's Databases: Films On Demand

Films On Demand Linking

The following instructions are for creating links.

   1. Search for an item and open the full record for it. Locate the ‘Record URL’ text box located underneath the video's title.

   2. Highlight the text in the Record URL field, then copy and paste this link into the desired location. Do not simply copy the URL from the browser’s address bar, as this is session specific and the item cannot be retraced once the session ends.

   3. An example of a Films in Demand URL would look like this: https://ezproxy.bellevue.edu/login?url=https://fod.infobase.com/PortalPlaylists.aspx?wID=97233&xtid=49979.

   4. Once created, the student will be able to click on the link and be immediately taken to the item, whether an article, video, or database. They will not need to log-in again in order to access the Library webpage or other resources.
