Frequently Asked Questions has all the answers about library policies, as well as information about resources, services, and technology available in the library. 


There are several ways to contact a librarian for assistance, even when it is not possible to talk face to face with one at the Reference Desk. 

24/7 Librarian Chat  connects you with  a BU librarian during normal operating hours; after hours, questions are answered by other academic librarians. Click on  on the top or bottom right side of the library homepage.

Skype for Reference is our newest service. Be sure to have Skype installed on your computer and schedule your session 24-48 hours in advance.
